I am going to go out on a limb and say that Moose is my favorite animal I have photographed in the studio for the Greenville Humane Society. The Operations Manager, Kelly, brought Moose to the studio. She walked in with a tennis ball and treats in hand. He didn't care about the treats. Moose was locked on to the tennis ball. She was holding it too long for his liking and he would bounce around hoping she'd toss it for him. I wasn't quite ready and she just told Moose to sit. He did, with a big smile on his face staring at the yellow tennis ball.
Moose is a very smart boy. He knows sit, down and stay. I believe he could learn more commands easily if someone will take their time with him. He has been at GHS for an extend time because he can get a little talkative in the run and he's unsure of children. Well, when he was in the studio he was the sweetest, most loving pup and never barked. He just wanted to play.
In my opinion, Moose would be prefect in a home without other animals or children. He does like other dogs, but he is picky on his friends. He would need to meet your children or other pets before being adopted. I think he'd make a great running partner and he loves to play tug.
When we finished his session we walked outside to get Moose some water. Kelly and I continued to talk so Moose just flopped on the ground and waiting patiently. Good boy!
Adoption fee on Moose is only $25. Read his GHS profile HERE.
Let's not forget about todays outtakes from Moose's session! :)
